Terms of Service

3.1 Third-party models: Outputs rely on third-party AI and media services (e.g. language, image, audio, encoding). Their behaviour and availability can change.

• Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini: text and planning where used
• Leonardo AI, OpenAI image tools: imagery / motion-related steps where used
• ElevenLabs (and similar): voice and audio where used
• FFmpeg / encoders: video assembly and export

3.2 No guarantee: AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your use case. You must review clips before publishing, especially for ads or regulated topics.

3.3 Limited control: We do not control underlying model providers. We connect you to those services subject to their terms and technical limits.

3.4 Your responsibility: You are responsible for compliance with law, platform policies (YouTube, Meta, TikTok, etc.), and third-party IP when you upload or monetise content.

3.5 Limitation of liability for AI outputs: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for quality, suitability, or harm arising from reliance on AI-generated clips.

4.1 Credits: Generation and related actions consume credits. Credit costs vary by settings (length, quality, regenerations, and features used). In-product estimates and your balance screen govern day-to-day use.

4.2 Packs and checkout: You may buy credit packs through Razorpay. Prices may be shown in INR, USD, or other supported currencies as offered at checkout. Taxes (such as GST) may apply where required.

4.3 Subscriptions (if any): Some accounts may include legacy or optional subscription-style entitlements shown in the app. Unless explicitly offered as a recurring plan in checkout, video generation is primarily credit-pack based as described on Pricing / Billing.

4.4 Consumption: Credits are generally consumed when a generation job is accepted and processed. Refund rules for failed jobs are described in our Cancellation & Refunds page.

4.5 Changes: We may change credit pricing, pack sizes, or per action credit usage. We will give reasonable notice where practicable (site, in-app, or email). Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

5.1 Your outputs: Subject to these Terms (including any free tier promotional licence below), you retain rights to video and related assets you lawfully create and export for your channels.

5.2 "As is": AI outputs are provided without warranty of uniqueness, clearance, or fitness for a particular commercial use.

5.3 Third-party IP: You are responsible for ensuring your prompts, uploads, and published clips do not infringe others' rights.

6.1 Formats: Primary delivery is digital download (typically MP4). Other export formats may appear in the app from time to time.

6.2 Use: You may use exported clips for personal or commercial purposes subject to law, these Terms, and any feature-specific rules shown in the product. You may not resell access to Clip AI itself or misrepresent the Service as your own technology.

The Service is provided "AS IS". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits, or third-party platform actions. Our aggregate liability is limited to fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (if any).

12.1 Free / welcome credits: Where we offer free or promotional credits, you grant Clip AI a licence to use anonymised or aggregated learnings from the service, and where we clearly disclose in-product, we may showcase opt-in public gallery clips you publish through admin tools.

12.2 Marketing: We may use product telemetry, screenshots, and anonymised examples in marketing. Specific promotional use of your identifiable clips beyond what you publish to the gallery will follow any additional consent or in-product settings we provide.

12.3 Paid distinction: Content you create using purchased credits or while on a clearly labelled paid account tier is not subject to broad promotional reuse by Clip AI beyond what these Terms and the Privacy Policy state. When in doubt, contact genify.contact@gmail.com.
