At Clip AI we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our AI short-video service (the "Service"). Please read it carefully.

2.1 Information you provide
- Account: name, email, password (or OAuth profile from Google when you use it)
- Profile: optional avatar and display name
- Payments: billing-related data processed by Razorpay; we do not store full card numbers on our servers
- Creative inputs: prompts, clip settings, style and voice choices, and generated assets (frames, audio, video files) needed to run the studio and deliver downloads
2.2 Automatically collected
- Usage: pages and features used, approximate timings
- Device: browser type, OS, IP address (for security and abuse prevention)
- Cookies: session and preference cookies required for login and basic product behaviour
3. How we use your information
We use it to:
- Provide and operate Clip AI (generation, rendering, downloads)
- Process video and related AI jobs you start in the app
- Manage your account, credits, and purchases
- Send service-related messages (e.g. receipts, critical product notices)
- Improve reliability, safety, and quality of the Service
- Detect fraud, abuse, and policy violations
- Meet legal obligations
4. Third-party services
We rely on subprocessors to deliver Clip AI. Non-exhaustive list:
- Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google Gemini: text and planning for clips and related workflows
- Leonardo AI, OpenAI image models: imagery and motion-related generation where enabled
- ElevenLabs (and similar): voice and audio when you use narration or music features
- FFmpeg / encoders: assembling and exporting video files (e.g. MP4)
- Supabase: database, authentication, file storage for your account and assets
- Razorpay: payments for credit packs and related checkout
- Google OAuth: optional sign-in
We may run automated safety and quality checks on prompts and outputs before or after generation, using the same classes of models above. You remain responsible for what you publish to third-party platforms (YouTube, Meta, TikTok, etc.).
5. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access or receive a copy of personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate account information
- Delete your account and associated data, subject to legal retention limits
- Export downloadable outputs the product makes available (e.g. completed MP4s from your library)
- Opt out of marketing emails where we send them
